As a network engineer, one of the first things I noticed was how quickly it was able to discover and map our network without us having to spend a lot of time maintaining it manually. That part alone has been a big time saver for the team. > > NetBrain is especially helpful when we are dealing with incidents. Earlier, we had to switch between different tools and do a lot of guesswork to figure out where the problem might be. Now, with automated path analysis and real-time diagnostics, we can trace the root cause much faster, which has noticeably reduced our MTTR. That said, the system integration part of NetBrain is also very impressive and top notch. > > Overall, it's a great tool and you must give it a try. It wasn't a magic switch; the first 3-4 months we spent mainly cleaning up inventories and rewriting the early playbooks our admins put together. But once we got past that hump, the platform has genuinely held up its end. Deployments are predictable now, audit trails are clean, and my ops team finally gets weekends back. Red Hat's support has been responsive to the tickets we've raised. The only thing that keeps coming up internally is cost, which I have to defend at every renewal. The platform covered a gap we'd been patching manually for too long. Deployment was straightforward and the device coverage out of the box was broader than most alternatives we evaluated.
